LIVESTOCK PRODUCTIVITY AND RESILIENCE SUPPORT PROJECT (L-PRES) ENUGU LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREAS FARMERS’ SENSITIZATION AND PROFILING VISITS DELIVERABLES FROM THE EXERCISE:
a) Farmers were profiled across the value chains
b) Database of names and phone numbers of the 147 farmers present was developed for ease of communication, information dissemination and effective participations.
c) WhatApp group of Aninri L.G.A Livestock farmers was created and operational
d) 5-Man Livestock committee was formed from the farmers present for effective operations among the farmers. One member from each of the five towns that make up Aninri LGA.
Conclusion:
The HPM of the local government, Lady Okolo Uzoma N. with the HOD Agric, Mr Igwe Gabriel and the LGA Agric Committee who initially created conducive environment for the exercise entertained farmers present and facilitated their transportation.
