The Women Support Women Community Network(WOSCONET) was received by (L-PRES) Enugu State Project Coordinator  Dr.Ifeyinwa Elizabeth Nnajieze,

The Leader of the Organisation Ambassador Amaka Nweke expressed her confidence to be part of what the State and Federal Government is doing through L-PRES Enugu and what they stand for and the Organisation (WOSCONET) is fully in support to be part of it.
Women Support Women Community Network (WOSCONET) are group of women empowered to be part of nation building through the series of activities like health, education, Agriculture and so on. The courtesy visit is aimed at familiarisation with the L-PRES Enugu state.

The State Project Coordinator L-PRES Enugu State, Dr. Ifeyinwa Elizabeth Nnajieze expressed her Joy and obliged the organisation to encourage their members who are Livestock Farmers to engage in the ongoing  profiling exercise to enable them to benefit from L-PRES projects. She also encouraged the organisation to keep up the good work that women are important to God and also to the world at large, so they should get involved in Agriculture most especially livestock farming.

This insinuates the need for women to get involved in the livestock business and crucial for several reasons:
Economic Empowerment: Women’s involvement in livestock helps diversify income sources, providing a buffer against economic shocks and contributing to poverty alleviation. Access to credit and education significantly enhances their participation.
Food Security and Nutrition: Women play a vital role in small-scale livestock production, which is essential for family nutrition and food security. Their control over livestock assets improves household health and education.
Gender Equality: Engaging women in livestock promotes gender equality by addressing socio-economic barriers and enhancing their decision-making roles.
Sustainable Development: Empowering women in livestock supports sustainable agricultural development and contributes to achieving gender equality goals .
